Andrew Miller is a writer from Portland, Oregon. Miller is currently a copywriter at Wieden+Kennedy Tokyo creating advertising for Nike, PlayStation and Google. He also contributes humor and satirical writing to McSweeney's Internet Tendency, College Humor and various other online publications. Prior to his career as a creative, Miller pursued a career in professional baseball and had a major league tryout as a starting pitcher. Miller was also a shooting guard for his high school varsity basketball team. He is a lifelong Portland Trailblazer fan and roots for the Seattle Mariners and St. Louis Cardinals every spring. 		IGNITE THE GAME I wrote and produced a Nike Football commercial for Asia Pacific featuring Cristiano Ronaldo, Carlos Tevez and Cesc Fabregas in a match between Manchester United and Arsenal FC. We filmed on location in Manchester and London over ten of the most freezing days and nights I've ever felt. But it was an amazing experience to work with such incredible athletes. I also take a ton of photos of Tokyo street culture, fashion and interesting meals that I eat along the way. 		ILLUSTRATOR I had a great opportunity to illustrate the Nike Soccer Note. The Soccer Note is a year long training notebook for high school athletes in Japan that features training inspiration from athletes like Wayne Rooney, Fernando Torres and other players from the 2010 World Cup. TOKYO BALLERS Nike throws an annual street basketball tournament at Yoyogi Park in Tokyo. This year I brought my high speed camera along and shot a short film of the action.
