OYL MILLER BAND - 'GO WEST'
Oyl Miller Band - Go West - 2006.

On Go West, the Oyl Miller Band presents a stripped down, do-it-yourself brand of indie rock, hailing from the do-it-yourself capital of America: Portland, Oregon. These songs aren't the slickly produced realizations of glamorous recording factories, but rather a raw collection of musical exploration put on record to be shared with others.

  'ROWS OF ROSES'
Co-Pilot Records

'Rows of Roses' is a tribute song to my hometown of Portland, Oregon. It was the first single off of my debut album 'Go West' and continues to be the most downloaded song I have released. The song talks about the nature and landscapes of Oregon from the perspective of a writer trying to gather his thoughts (unsuccessfully)into a meaningful work of art. The vocals harmonies are backed by a raw electric guitar riff that drives the song forward. I am taken back to the late night diners of Portland every time I play it.
